Writers Block

When I started this blog I had grand plans to post a blog every day, or at least 5 days a week, but every time I have a moment to write something my mind draws a blank. Which is frustrating because I can think of plenty of things to write about when I'm in the shower, or driving, or trying to go to sleep. All times when I can't pick up my phone to jot down notes.

If I do remember what I was planning to write, I convince myself that it's not relevant or interesting enough so I've been skipping those posts.  I do want to record our memories but I don't want each post to just be "today we did this or that". I want there to be more to it.

I also struggle to write when I'm not feeling happy or inspired and lately I've been a little flat. Max has been sick and requiring a lot more parenting now that he's a little older and looking for boundaries.

Its classic writers block.

Fumbling to make each word meaningful and useful and instead writing nothing.

So my cure will be to write anyway and allow this blog to develop on its own with each post shaping it and my writing.

And not needing to be perfect.
